BBBSIC has an exciting program,

 DINO - Dabble In New Opportunities! 

Join us to visit the Woodland Park Zoo, take a baking class from King Arthur Baking, learn how to fish, forage, and take equine assisted learning! 

We have already held a BBQ, a young adult yoga program, sent kids to camp, held a second year of Pilot for a Day, and have so many more events coming! 

Thank you to everyone that made this year's WISH event such a success!

We are looking forward to joining Cascade Aviation again for the fifth year in a row in 2025, as they take our youths through an aviation ground school before hitting the skies with EAA 818 Chapter Pilots. The youth experience what it's like to be a pilot for a day, help the pilots fly planes, and join the Young Eagles program!  

If there are any interested Littles and/or High School Bigs aged 11 to 18 who would like to join us next time, call or email us to sign up!

The $2500 Julie Langrock Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by BBBS of Island County and is open to graduating seniors on Whidbey Island who were either a Little in our program or who volunteered as a Big.     

This scholarship was created in memory of our friend, beloved former Executive Director and board member, and fellow defender of potential, Julie Langrock. Julie's dedication to the youth in Island County was a spark of inspiration for so many. With this scholarship, we hope to continue to ignite the potential of youth for many years to come.
