Be sure to join us for the 2024 Julie Langrock Memorial Scholarship Dinner!
The $2500 Julie Langrock Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by BBBS of Island County and is open to graduating seniors on Whidbey Island who were either a Little in our program or who volunteered as a Big.
This scholarship was created in memory of our friend, beloved former Executive Director and board member, and fellow defender of potential, Julie Langrock. Julie's dedication to the youth in Island County was a spark of inspiration for so many. With this scholarship, we hope to continue to ignite the potential of youth for many years to come.
100% of proceeds will go towards the Julie Langrock Memorial Scholarship fund.

BBBSIC is excited for our new program DINO - Dabble In New Opportunities! Join us to visit the Woodland Park Zoo, take a baking class from King Arthur Baking, learn how to fish, forage, horseback ride, and take equine assisted therapy!
We have already held a BBQ, a young adult yoga program, sent kids to camp, held a second year of Pilot for a Day, and have so many more events coming!
The 3rd Annual Pilot for a Day was a huge success with many of our youth participating!
We are looking forward to joining Cascade Aviation again for the fourth year in a row, as they take our youths through an aviation ground school before hitting the skies with EAA 818 Chapter Pilots. The youth experience what it's like to be a pilot for a day, help the pilots fly planes, and join the Young Eagles program!
We look forward to many more days in the clouds with these two amazing organizations!
